Erin L. Ilgen has worked in a variety of areas, including business logistics, warehousing operations, strategic planning, project management, organizational planning, and associate education and development. She consults on process improvements and has delivered employee education to companies in more than 50 countries. Her international experience has allowed her to present at global conferences such as the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) and KM Australia, and she has been featured in international publications such as Nikkei Business and Extreme Toyota. When away from the office, Erin enjoys skiing, playing tennis, and swimming, as well as traveling and spending time with friends and family. She lives in Los Angeles, where she's often found completing DIY projects around her house.

Emma Alvarez Gibson is a writer, editor, and creative director with a lifelong branding obsession. She has created and refined brand identities for a variety of people, products, and businesses. Her clients most often say that she just gets it; quickly homing in on the core of the message and determining the best method of delivery for maximum impact. Her media background includes everything from copywriting to ad creation; from photography to project management; from ad sales to press checks. She's worked in advertising, publishing, film and television production, PR, the automotive industry, and the health and wellness industry. Her current niche is higher education.
