THE EXPERIENCE

We’ve arranged the conference for you to have plenty of time to connect beyond the surface-level “What do you do?” question. You’ll meet women from across the country (and world!) at the beginning, mid-, and senior-levels of their careers in fields ranging from public relations to entrepreneurship to product development. They all have one thing in common: a desire to take an active role in their career and personal brand.

We’ve capped the conference at 50 attendees – this is an intimate affair – which means you’ll leave with 50+ new contacts to add to your network.

Long Beach, California: Where urban meets coastal
Located just along the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach combines a hip, sophisticated urban vibe with friendly, beach-town charm. The conference location is just a few minutes away from the shore (there are bicycles for rent outside the hotel's back door), and steps away from the bustling, artistic downtown area (take your pick of wine bars, chic restaurants, and boutique shopping). We love Long Beach, and we think you will, too!

Conference digs
We wanted someplace that felt luxurious yet professional; we needed a place with
personality and a sense of humor. The Renaissance Hotel in Long Beach is the perfect backdrop to a gorgeously smart weekend. Indulge in a quiet breakfast at Promenade Café or grab cocktails at SIP Lounge. There’s a Starbucks (essential), an outdoor pool and hot tub (don’t forget your swimsuit), and a jogging trail along the beach (steps from the hotel).

The hotel rooms include pillow-top mattresses and 300-thread-count sheets (get your beauty sleep) along with wi-fi and workstations (just in case). We’ve negotiated a special rate of $165 for Friday and Saturday nights. To make your reservation, call 562-437-5900 and tell them you’re with The Business of Women conference.
